Happy Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day is almost here. A day to express love.
Most of us can remember handing out valentine's cards to first or second-grade classmates. We giggled over each card we gave or received. But, as we grew up, this custom became more meaningful.
Whether we received a card, flowers, candy, or a simple phone call (texts are a No), knowing that someone is thinking about us makes us feel loved, or at the very least, special.
This Valentine Day, spend time considering how you express love. What does love mean to you? How do you like to be loved? Most importantly, ask yourself, "how much do I love myself?"
It's impossible to give someone something you don't have; therefore, it's necessary first to love yourself. Accepting that you are valuable, worthwhile, loving, and caring are qualities that develop healthy and loving relationships.
If you happen to be alone on this celebrated day, reach out and spend it with someone you enjoy.
Happy Valentine' readers, and always remember the ItsIts, Shrink, and their creator love you.
