For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Dynomi, (Dy-no-my) the Self-Power ItsIt. Just like my other five ItsIt friends, I represent a personality trait that I want to explore with you, so you know me better.
Ask yourself what comes to your mind when you think of power?
Is it wealth, and being able to buy whatever you want?
An important position or title?
The status of coming from a socially prominent family?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you would be correct, but only if you are describing outside power.
What I represent, and what you also have the capability to develop, is much more valuable and useful than outside power. I’m proud to say I have … SELF-POWER!
It is amazing to experience self-power; feelings of self-worth, self-appreciation and a sense that I have something worthwhile to contribute. It makes me feel great.
Self-Power also means my power belongs to me; it is not attached to anyone or anything else. Unlike outside power, it can never be taken away from me, lost or wiped out. You too can develop this type of power.
Aside from the qualities already mentioned, my self-power enhances my empathy for others and keeps me humble. Put all of these qualities together and I am a caring soul who can accept whatever limitations I might have.
I hadn’t planned to mention this, but seeing that I am humble, I will let you in on a little secret. I would not have been able to develop self-power without the help of ItsMe, the self-love ItsIt. You see, we’re a team, we balance each other. Without self-love, I couldn’t have developed the remarkable traits of self-power. One without the other just doesn’t work positively. Instead, we become negative, limiting and frequently unhappy. I sure wouldn’t want this for you.
I hope you enjoyed getting to know me better and I hope that I have encouraged you to examine how much self-power you have developed. Don’t overlook this important aspect of your personality but remember you need to love yourself first.
Did you know that Self-Love and Self-Power are the most important relationship you will ever have? It is your relationship with yourself, and that’s where it all begins. So, happy self-power days to all of you.
